North Vancouver born bass player Zachary Wong has been involved in music since the age of 10. He has acquired a Bachelor’s of Applied Music from Vancouver Community College while studying under the tutelage of Laurence Mollerup (Barbara Streisand, Herb Ellis), Paul Rushka (Cory Weeds, Sharon Minemoto) and John Walsh (Dan Mangan, Brasstronaut).

Zach is well versed in a multitude of genres and styles ranging from Jazz, Fusion, Funk/Soul, R&B, Modern Rap, Hip-hop, Pop, Top 40, Latin, Indie, etc . He is currently a member of Vancouver Based Alt. R&B band DACEY, but has experience working with a variety of artists including Richard Tichelman, Luvinya, FKA Rayne, Elijah Blond, and The Brennan Buglioni Trio. Zach has performed all across Canada at various venues & festivals the likes of Rifflandia, Guilt & Co., The Hollywood Theatre, The Baby G, SAMU Macewan Fall Fest, Khatsalano, and the Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival. He also has experience playing in private events from weddings & corporate parties to theatre productions including a production of FAME: The Musical at the Firehall Arts Centre in 2016. 

With multiple years of experience under his belt; Zach is able to deliver a mix of infectious grooves & charismatic stage presence that make a fine addition to just about any performance.
